What is a Quinq?
A Quinq is someone who graduated from Vanderbilt 50 years ago. The Class of 1969 are being celebrated this year as our newest Quinqs. Quinq is a shortened form of Latin quinquaginta (50) or quinquagenary (50th anniversary). It is not surprising that three alumni--from the Classes of 1887, 1897 and 1892-- who were trained in the classics chose this name.
Quinq gifts support deserving students, advance ground-breaking research and provide the margin of excellence that makes a Vanderbilt education second to none. Please make your life-changing gift today.
