Dear VUSN alumni,
Whether you spent your student days at a desk in Godchaux Hall or in front of a computer screen hundreds of miles away, you are a Vanderbilt nurse—skillfully prepared to meet the highest standards thanks to the country’s top nursing educators who call Vanderbilt home.
Today, every patient you care for is the beneficiary of your Vanderbilt education. Every year we celebrate Vanderbilt nurses and their accomplishments at Reunion. It’s a time to reconnect with the people who were important to you then and to see for yourself what’s taking place now.
I’d also like to encourage you to make a gift in honor of your Reunion. Reunion gifts support the VUSN Alumni Association Scholarship Fund and help ease the financial burden for deserving students. Because of the generosity of nursing alumni like you, gifts received for Reunion 2013 provided much-needed scholarship support for three current students. Please give and carry on this Reunion tradition—this is your year to make a difference!
Please accept my personal invitation to join us in Nashville Oct. 9–11 at your VUSN Reunion. I am looking forward to meeting you.
With warm regards,
Linda D. Norman, DSN, RN, FAAN
